It Ain't Easy Bein' Steezy

For this kid it comes naturally.

As of Monday at 10:07 AM Pacific Standard Time, Buck Yedor who is a contributor to GOON SQUAD FOREVER and my roommate, saw his friend stock increase 666%.  What could prompt such a huge spike in his value you might ask?  Well, it all started in the hot summer of 2010 when a little injury cut Buck Yedor's study abroad in Spain short by 9 months.  In the time recovering back in the good old US of A the beast within could hardly be contained, motivating buck to train his upper body for rock climbing.  Unfortunately, his dedication and passion for climbing led to another injury in one of his hands. The workings of life are mysterious as they are confusing and when one door temporarily closes another opens.

Bucks departure for Thailand in a second attempt at study abroad had many hoping this trip would revitalize our friends spirit and energy for new things to come.  And come they did.  Upon Bucks arrival from school in paradise, had one goal in mind: get sponsored for slacklining.  So what happens after a couple of months chilling super hard in Isla Vista and making everyone jealous for being finished with college?  Buck masters the butt bounce, chest bounce, back flip, front flip, completes a promo video, and gets invited to compete in Vail, Colorado's Teva Mountain Games as well as the Parker games.  If you've ever come by 6625 Trigo and seen the crazy blond kid doing things on a little line 3 feet off the ground, then you've probably seen Buck doing his thang.  If not, check out his promo footage below.

We'll be keeping up with Buck's progress in the world of slacklining and hopefully he'll be sending us some new vids to blow our minds with.  Check back here in a couple weeks to find out how he performed in Vail!  GOON SQUAD FOREVER wishes you good luck, Buck and may the force be with you.
