It is with great pleasure that I introduce this new song to you, and the world. A modern day Birthday song that I hope turns into something more than just an indie tune that we brush over time. Everything this song says has some relation to our recent kickbacks in our local neighborhoods. Drama, cops, the girls, the environment. Such a great tune. With that said, I would also like to dedicate this song to a great friend, known him since the 1st grade and words cannot explain how grateful I am for this kid. Happy Birthday Brian, enjoy this tune from Goon Squad and the crew. "Happy Birthday to many, and You!"
Well, Young Galaxy is BACK! YEAH BABY! They'll be releasing some new stuff in a few days/weeks so stay posted son! Here's a sneak peak of what's to come:
Might not be all that new, but definitely a tune worth noting. The Neighbourhood have really made a song to remember and playout through the rest of year. Such a fresh tune. It manages to make everything feel alright and simply gets you through your day. I am happy to post my first 2013 tune "Sweater Weather" because yes, indeed, it is that time of year. Enjoy the tune, and more to come! Let's get the ball rolling already! One more thing, is it strange that I hear some Matisyahu sounds towards the end of the song?
And indeed that something will *Pop* when you listen to this tune from the Swedish duo. To those beautiful and committed ladies that are still going strong with their new years resolution, I wish to contribute this tune to your workout playlist and hope you shake your booty's while working it at the gym. You go girls! On another note, lets start looking into buying tickets for this hot duo on February 16 at the Troubadour in Hollywood. Trust, they WILL SELL OUT!
I'm in the process of updating myself on Flosstradamus' work and I've found a few dope ass tracks including the one above. Their record label, Fool's Gold released their inaugural rap compilation titled "Loosies," which features Flosstradamus and a host of other DJ's and rappers. I'll be getting my grubby hands on a copy of that so I can share the best tracks with you.
Happy New Year folks! Yesterday videographer Tony Modugno released a sneak peak of what our friends over at First Floor Surf are up to in their evil secret lair under The Men's Center. It's a sweet little taste so if you find yourself hungry for more, head on over to their website at firstfloorsurf.com. Also, a couple of shakas at Tony for some top notch video production and song selection. See more of his work at his vimeo page vimeo.com/tonymodugno. Enjoy.
